Ask yourself: What do you love doing? What's your goals and aspirations? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10yrs?
Think on it .
Now ask yourself, what are you doing EVERYDAY to achieve these goals?

I know I haven't been posting lately , being on social media , etc. I needed some "ME" time . I need to focus on myself , my goals , and how to obtain each and every one of them. I honestly wasn't focused at all. I wasn't getting certain tasks done ( such as blogging ). I just wasn't totally in-tune with me and where I wanted to be in the future .
So I asked myself , what's holding me back?
What's the problem?

, I figured it out. Social media was definitely a problem for me . Spending countless hours on Instagram scrolling down my explore page for hours. Flicking through Twitter for way too long entertaining myself with ignorance. Sitting on snapchat when I'm soooo bored that I've watched everyone's snapchat.
Like it had gotten so bad that I'd wake up , and scroll through my feeds. During my morning rituals , I would have waisted around 20 min just sitting on Instagram.
Time is a virtue . I'm 20 years young, and I won't be 20 forever. I knew I needed to use this precious time wisely.
No, I'm not against social media. I figured out my problem and I solved it.
According to Medical Daily, “Because social media has become such an integrated component of human interaction, it is important for clinicians interacting with young adults to recognize the balance to be struck in encouraging potential positive use, while redirecting from problematic use,” said the study’s senior author Brian A. Primack, director of the Center for Research on Media, Technology, and Health at the University of Pittsburgh.
Then I deleted every social media outlet I had on my phone and went off the grid. There was times where I'd be itching to get on them. I'd have to quickly remind myself to invest my time into something that will instead help me with my goals and aspirations. I instead began reading fashion articles each and every time I feigned for a lick of what theshaderoom was talking about.
I had regained control of myself , became mentally stronger, and also, I was able to get wayyyyyy more work done for myself and my dreams. I still use social media. I've just learned to limit the amount of time I spend on it.
There's always an obstacle in stopping anyone from doing anything they want to do. But sometimes the hardest obstacle could be you.
You over think things. You doubt yourself . You always have that "what if" mind state. You are your biggest critic.
So guys, don't hesitate to chase your dreams . But if your struggling to focus and or get things done, figure out WHY!
